This is Our Heritage Competition

Show your passion for the rich cultural, environmental, architectural and people heritage of Trinidad & Tobago! Take part in one or more aspects of the ‘This is Our Heritage’ Competition and showcase your creativity and love for our heritage!

Since its inception in 2018, Heritage Petroleum has become the single largest contributor to the national GDP, for the benefit of all citizens of Trinidad & Tobago. The company seeks to engender a sense of pride and ownership in all who call T&T home, positively impacting the lives of our people. Through the ‘This is Our Heritage’ campaign, we want to see you creatively capture, all that makes us proud to be Trinbagonian.

The This is Our Heritage Competition has four components; participants may take part in any of the four or all of them.

Instagram Video Competition

Create a 1 minute 30 second OR 2-minute video showcasing aspects of T&T’s cultural, environmental, architectural or people heritage and post on Instagram for a chance to win cash prizes!

1st prize – TT$20,000
2nd prize – TT$10,000
3rd prize – TT$5,000

The video must include use of the “This is Our Heritage” anthem as the audio in the video. Enter as a group (maximum of 4 persons) or individually. Please read entry rules and terms carefully before participating.

The ‘This is Our Heritage’ Video Competition will run from July 22nd to September 25th, 2024.

Facebook Digital Poster Competition

Develop a poster using a minimum of three photos, showcasing aspects of T&T’s cultural, environmental, food and people heritage. The poster must also include a quote or lines from the “This is Our Heritage” Anthem as part of the copy. Post your creation on Facebook, tagging Heritage Petroleum and using the competition’s hashtags, for a chance to win cash prizes!

1st prize – TT$20,000
2nd prize – TT$10,000
3rd prize – TT$5,000

The ‘This is Our Heritage’ Video/Reel competition will run from July 22nd to September 25th, 2024.

TikTok Dance Challenge

We challenge you to do your best rendition of the dance choreography made to the “This is Our Heritage” Anthem. Heritage will put out a dance challenge video on TikTok and participants will post a video of themselves dancing to the This is Our Heritage Anthem, following along to the choreography. Tag the Heritage Petroleum TikTok profile, use the competition’s hashtags and follow all competition rules for a chance to win cash prizes!

1st prize – TT$20,000
2nd prize – TT$10,000
3rd prize – TT$5,000

The ‘This is Our Heritage’ TikTok Dance Challenge will run from August 7th to September 25th, 2024.

'Heritage Is We Own' Radio Competition

Call-in to select radio stations and sing a verse and chorus of the ‘This is Our Heritage’ Anthem, for a chance to win! Two winners from each station will be selected every week and each winner will receive TT$1,000 in prizes. Winners will be selected based upon accuracy of lyrics, vibes and call-in votes by the public on their favourite rendition.
