Control of Work is a system of procedures and practices used to ensure hazardous work activities are performed safely, preventing accidents and injuries. It includes structured processes that includes risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and isolations. The goal is to minimize risk through a consistent methodology, thereby protecting people and assets and ensuring compliance with regulations.


Control of Work Training
Persons interfacing with Control of Work are exposed to training towards developing their competencies in performing their roles. Training offerings include, Permit to Work (PTW), Hazard Identification & Task Based Risk Assessment (HITRA) , and Safe Isolation & Return to Service (SIRS)
