Training the Next Generation of Energy Professionals

On Thursday, 26th January 2023, Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage) hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2021-2023 Graduate Training Programme cohort, at the Point-a- Pierre Staff Club Ballroom.

Seventeen (17) graduate trainees took part in this inaugural training programme, receiving practical work experience within the following Business Units: Finance, HSE, Midstream, Land, Subsurface, Business Development and Offshore.

Heritage Chairman, Mr. Michael Quamina, in addressing the graduates, commended them for their contribution to the productivity of the organisation and urged them to let the Heritage INSPIRE values continue to influence them in their personal and professional development. Heritage CEO, Ms. Arlene Chow, also addressed the graduates, expressing her thanks for their hard work and for bringing their talent and zeal to the respective roles.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating cohort, Sadiyah Forde, HSE Graduate Trainee, expressed gratitude for the learnings received. “Though challenging and demanding, these two years provided me with the foundational lessons I needed, to propel my career in the direction I’d like it to go and I would like to thank the Heritage team”.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by the Heritage Deputy Chairman of the Board, Mr. Reynold Ajodhasingh and by Director, Mr. Newman George. Members of the Company’s Executive Leadership and Management Teams were also in attendance.
